The Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (FBISE), Islamabad signed the Memorandum of Understanding with M/S. The Roots International Schools and Colleges on September 06th, 2021 for affiliation of the Roots International Schools and Colleges with the Federal Board. The memorandum of understanding was signed by the Chairman, FBISE Mr Qaisar Alam and Chief Executive Officer of The Roots International Schools and Colleges Mr Walid Mushtaq. The Roots International Schools and Colleges is among one of the largest private school networks in Pakistan with branches in all the major cities across the country. It currently has 20 schools in the country with over 10,000 students in 50+ owned and franchised schools. This MOU serves as a terms of reference for the details about The Roots International Schools and Colleges’ Affiliation with FBISE, key areas of collaboration, mechanics of the joint collaboration and proposed timelines. The Roots International Schools and Colleges are currently affiliated with multiple local boards, which makes it difficult to provide centralized support for teaching and learning activities. Affiliating its network of secondary and higher secondary schools with FBISE will help to align syllabi and assessment system across Pakistan, enabling the Roots International Schools and Colleges to bring about improvements in teaching and learning. It will also enable the Roots International Schools and Colleges’ students to benefit from the current interventions / innovations of the Federal Board relating to unbundling of Scheme of Studies, freedom of subject choice, use of technology, On-screen Marking of exam papers etc. that FBISE provides to the affiliated institutions across Pakistan and abroad.

American Lycetuff DNK School System signed a memorandum of understanding with the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education to ensure the continuation of high-quality education to our students throughout. The MOU was co-signed by the Chairman of FBISE; Mr Qaisar Alam and Executive Director American Lycetuff DNK School System; Mr. Aurangzeb Nadeem Kiani. American Lycetuff DNK School System has, so far, maintained its precedence of providing the best well-rounded educational experience to its students across all platforms. The Citizens Foundation (TCF) has signed an MoU with the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) regarding the affiliation of TCF’s Secondary Schools. The association with FBISE will provide centralized support for teaching and learning activities. Affiliating its network of secondary schools with FBISE will help TCF align syllabi and assessment system across Pakistan, enabling TCF to bring about improvements in teaching and learning to the less privileged communities where TCF works. It will also enable TCF’s students to benefit from innovations relating to subject choice, use of technology etc. that FBISE provides across Pakistan. FBISE aims to support organizations that are in the field of education, particularly those serving less privileged communities. A collaboration with TCF will help FBISE deepen its footprint across Pakistan and to play its role in meeting the needs of less privileged communities. Talking about this development, Syed Asaad Ayub Ahmad, President and CEO of TCF, said, “TCF believes in continuous improvement and affiliation with Federal board for Intermediate and Secondary Education is a step in that direction. Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education , Islamabad signed the MoU with M/S the Right School and College today on June 24th, 2021 for affiliation of the Right School and College with the Federal Board. The MoU was signed by the Chairman FBISE Mr Qaisar Alam and the Chief Executive Officer of the Right School and College, Mr. Muhammad Faisal Thakur. The Right School and College is today one of the major private school networks in Pakistan with branches in major cities across the country. It currently has 75 schools nationwide and abroad with over 25,000 students in owned and franchised schools.
